This is a bittersweet moment...
It is coming to the end of summer of 2014 and it is still the middle of wedding season. It is a time of excitement and anticipation. Brides are frantically putting together the last little details of their day - while every photographer is getting excited to go out and capture the amazing moments that are going to happen.
It is also a time of change and endings for me and my company. Last night I photographed a beautiful couple on their special day at the Wedding Pavillion. That amazing experience, that I was honored to be a part of, was my last wedding contracted as the exclusive photographer for this venue. Over the past few years I have met and photographed some of the most amazing people I know – people who I now call friends. It is with both a heavy heart and absolute excitement that I move on to the next adventure!
I believe that every ending is a new beginning. While yesterday was a sad day, saying goodbye to some friends and a great business relationship, they did not deny me a beautiful ending. This beautiful ending has made making the jumpstart to the future that much more enticing and exciting!
Over the next few months I will be working on my new adventure. JMP will be rolling out a new look, a new website, a new blog and fresh new ME! So while it may be a sad thing to say goodbye, I just couldn’t pass up such a good ending. Tomorrow will bring many new beginnings and I hope you all stick around and see what lies ahead!
