Aleesha & Todd's Wedding & Engagement!Posted by: Joelene |

When Aleesha & Todd were married, the world stood still. |

| A couple of weeks ago, yes it has been that long since I have blogged, Aleesha was a nervous bride! I met the couple through Aleesha's Dad, who is friends with a very good friend of mine. When we sat down for the first time, I fell in love with this couple. They are so much fun! |
 |
| They had chosen the perfect wedding colours! ( I say perfect because they are the colours I have chosen for my wedding!) Red and Black. Of course Todd being a Flames fan, he wanted to incorporate the Calgary Flames to the wedding and Aleesha being a supportive wife to be loved the idea of having thier engagement session at the 'Dome! |

| So off to the 'Dome we went! During an actual hockey game we were wondering around taking portraits for thier engagment! It was so much fun! Did you know professional cameras are NOT allowed inside the Saddledome during a Flames game? Yeah, me either. I learned the hard way! |

| How romantic, I love how time stands still for these two when they are focusing on eachother! |

| It was when I was taking this photograph that I learned that no cameras were allowed. Some 6 foot something security guard came upt to me and stood right in front of my camera. Aleesha and Todd were way up on the stairs making out, while I was shaking in my boots! I "negoiated" a lens use deal with this security guard, and carried on with our session. |
 |
| The only problem was, he forgot to mention it to every other security guard in the place! We were getting stopped left right and centre during our session. Aleesha and Todd were so patient and amazing about the entire thing! The fear of getting arrested didn't even phase them! They wanted to keep going and get the perfect engagement portraits! |

| And that we did! Look at the seats we had for the game!! Too bad we didnt' get to sit there for the entire duration! All though, when we did sit down there it was awesome! |

| For Aleesha & Todd that was the PERFECT engagement session, for me it was like Christmas morning! I couldn't wait for the wedding! |

| When the day finally arrived, I was like a kid in a candy store! I was so excited and all giddy to just be a part of thier day. I knew that it was going to be fun and full of amazing portrait opportunities! |

| When we went for bridal party portraits, the gang was so much fun! We joked around, gooffed off and simply enjoyed every moment of the day! They were so on the ball with direction and jokes that I had to stop to control my giggles more often then not! What an amazing group of friends! |
 |
| I just adore these two! I love thier personalities, who they are, what they represent and more over; how they just are perfect together and how that makes my job effortless! |

| It was a perfect and beautiful day! I don't think I would have changed a thing! I am 100% positive it was everything they dreamed of and more! |

| I wanted to ad this last shot. This image is one I took, after the ceremony, after the family portraits, after the bridal party portraits... After everything, Aleesha and Todd snuck of to an undisclosed location, alone, with noone there and just enjoyed each others company. They were able to take a moment and absorbe the day before the big party began. I reccomend it to everyone! That 5 minute break makes all the difference in the world! |
